I went old school here and made it double-sized. Call it over-zealous storytelling or just plain...BUSY PAGE stuff!
Either way, the whole game is here including the unprecedented SIXTH MAN in the crew, Desmond! Who is seems to be out for some good, ole, organic redemption!
On behalf of the 100th page, I'd like to thank all of you who have come by and made BLNT a fun and educational place to do a comic story! I love drawing and writing the stories - I love it even more when you all come by and give me a little love.
This page is dedicated to you (Hope you like it)...
Peace be with you - look for an all-new BLNT next week! Where Jason sings more like a canary than an Edison Eagle.
@ SomaX - We DO all want a monkey. Now...WHERE'S THE VAN?!?!?!?!?
@ JustNoPoint - Desmond is attempting to flex his gangsta swagger as hard as he can - he doesn't often use his words as the primary weapon. And he does, its usually phrased with an insult about someone's mother.
Gotta love him. His characted is inspired by several hard-heads I've taught in my career.
Le gasp! 100! congratz!
And it is most certainly epic! Go Desmond!
These last several pages have reminded me of that one Dane Cook monologue about being part of a heist (of course then he goes on to talk about monkies). lol
@ usedbooks - The punch from Desmond was really for dramatic effect...although, Desmond is the resident scraper (Or is he by comparison)?
@ smkinoshita - Desmond wanted to help once he realized his role in all of this (That's from http://www.drunkduck.com/Better_Luck_Next_Time/index.php?p=441238] Episode 2.37[/url]). But as you seem to know...this IS Desmond. If you love to hate Desmond, you'll love how this plays out.
@ amanda - Like I told, Scott, redemption has many layers...MANY...LAYERS ;-).
@ KayleeVersus - Like I told Amanda and Scott...Desmond is indeed...Desmond. But then again, you like that about him.
As to the other 50 pages. In my mind, blood, sweat, and tears aside...That's what we call "Filler". The recaps and the research files - promo stuff. Non-essentials compared to actual episodes. Not sure if that's a rule here at DD - It's my own milestone rule.
@ POLO - You liked that, huh? Thanks man!
@ Tantz - There is not a whole lot of action on BLNT sans the sports (Soccer and basketball season). I'm REALLY trying to avoid the talk heads faux pas. Glad you appreciate it in the spirit it was meant...all thug in Desmond's case.
@ trevoramueller - Thanks man!
@ artdude2002 - 100 doesn't seem so huge anymore compared to say Used Books (Nod to Vickie)...Still, I'm glad to be in that club. Thanks.
Happy C-Note Episode! I'm very happy Desmond is back. I'm dubious about his "redemption" motives too.
Why don't you count the other 50 pages in your milestone? I think they're just as valuable as the actual episodes. Just my $.02. See you at the gym tonight!

That punch panel ROCKS!!!!!!
Congrates with the 100 episodes. I enjoy the writing and art.
