I have a friend that does because he's not buying 'blood fuel' anymore....but one day, he was riding the bus and he saw a pile of poo under one of the seats. No kidding - I'm thinking, only in LA.

Having lived in the city and having to coordinate walking v. bus routes, I never turned down a ride (even from strangers... shame on me).
