Bad Guy High

I know it doesn't seem that way, since I always have Dan getting his ass beat, but SuperDan was always supposed to be on pre-Crisis Superman power-levels. One of the "concepts" of Bad Guy High was to poke fun of the sillier aspects of comics, specifically some of the absurdities of the silver-age; such as Superman being so incredibly strong.

This is just an image I thought up since Superboy-Prime is supposed to be a silver-age powered character too. So I thought the two would be evenly matched.

Ahhhh, Silver Age Superman-level powers. So absurd, so fun to play around with. Once, bored, I figured out that Superman had his strength multiplied 66 sextillion times over a normal man to move worlds the way he did.

There was a story in which Mxyzptlk made Superman about to sneeze, and he went at ultra-light speed to a uninhabited solar system--in seconds---and his SNEEZE demolished the entire solar system.

Just reporting, not justifying or rationalizing.

Hey, Dan, did I ever mention I met my wife through one of Julie Schwartz' Superman letter columns, and we honeymooned in NYC and met Julie Schwartz on the fourth or fifth day of the honeymoon at the DC Offices?
