It will be up in about 10 minutes, so I hope that all of you will get the most out of it. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: crocty | | | | OK then, from now on, I'll make honest comments on your reviews, and there wass no reason for me to insult you like that... -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: crocty | | | | Yeah OK, probably a good point, Bocaj. But still, his reviews are simply horrid. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: Bocaj | | | Crocty I have a bit of a problem with what you just said...
You hate Powerup Comics.
You bashed them continuously.
Now I have to be all voice-of-reason-y. Sigh...
Crocty, don't make it personal. If you saw this single comic minus the other two before it, you would love it.
DISCLAIMER: INAPPROPRIATE SIMILE
I understand you're offended, but please don't go crazy. I'm beginning to sympathize with IQ 1000. Sure he may be wrong, but he isn't waving his dong in your face, he is just masturbating to a picture of the devil. And hey, he isn't hurting anyone. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: Copy and Paste | | | | I usually read the the page I'm on when I start reading a comic, no matter the art work or dialog. Then I decide whether I should read another page or not. I give every comic a fair chance. I really only judge a comic on whether it reaches the point it's trying to make. So if a comic is supposed to be funny, and it is then I read the comic, regardless of anything art work or anything else. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: Bocaj | | | OK, I agree the comic is bad, but moving onto your reviews (I differ a little why (I'm OK with VG comics).
An easy way to make your reviews better is to use actual images from the comic and then type over it. It shouldn't be too hard to do, and it would, if anything else make you seem credible (at least a little). -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: crocty | | | Also, YOU DON'T NEED ART FOR A COMIC.
Ever heard of a "book"?
It's something intelligent people read. It contains no pictures!
BUT IT STILL TELLS A STORY!
I mean, it must be impossible for someone to read that, if your IQ is lower than 2, like yours. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: crocty | | 1 | OK, while I DO hate Powerup comics, here's what I think about your review.
1. It's a gaming comic, retard. That's why it focuses on video games.
2. There are jokes, you might not get them, but there are some there.
3. It doesn't CONSTANTLY feature that guy shooting the guy in the face.
4. Copy and paste? You mean like your review background?
5. Your "To improve this comic" section is very unclear. You don't say HOW he could make them more realistic.
6. Kill yourself. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: IQ 1000 | | | | Yes, but when you first look at a comic, what attracts you to it? Before you can get into the story of a comic, you must be attracted to the art. However if the art is no good, how will you be attracted to a comic in the first place. That answer is: you can't. Without art, a comic isn't worth reading. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 | | User: Copy and Paste | | | | It seems you have the same arguement as you did with F&V, which is that you hate the art. Art does not completly make a comic. Powerup comics have some pretty funny punchlines, which does make a comic. And I do not think Powerup Comics is aiming for a complex story lines. It's a comic strip, which are just random funny jokes. -Posted on Feb 12, 2008 |
