Apparently, this comic has a few loyal viewers, but in itself, it could DEFINITELY see some improvement. If you wish to suggest a comic that you think is "bad" enough to be reviewed on "Bad Comics" just put your suggestion as a comment below.

No offence but Iq 1000 your an idiot. (actually I mean a lot of offence)

A few points
1) It's FRANK AND VINNY it doens't actually need any more characters than that.

2) It's the best stick figure artwork I have ever seen and his expressions are great.

3) Frank And Vinny is made with great humour and original jokes.

4) You demonstrate YOUR artistic ability by drawing half a face with sunglasses with NO expression.

I really hope you learn some manners or get shut down by the admins.

My suggestion for a bad comic- This one!

Hello I understand that you want to get your opinion across and fair enough if you don't like any of these comics you are allowed to say so, although your chosen method is somewhat inappropriate.

Although you may not relate to any of the comics in question many people do and if your putting them down it may damage their self esteem and the writer may stop writing not only upsetting them but the views who miss the comic.
Furthermore this website is designed for freedom of expression in a comic form, and comics and cartoons spread from anywhere from stick figures to manga and anime to a traditional comic like the dandy or beano, There is therefore no reason to insult particular styles.
Another point is that Stick figures are not lifeless and dull at all in fact if you have ever viewed the work of giacometti (an artist in case you were unaware) You would understand that Stick figures can be appreciated as an art from too, granted Croctys Franky and Vinny are not stylised in the same way as his work but he has stylised them in his own fashion and for this he should not be insulted but complimented. Not to mention that the stick figure actually helps the reader interpret the comic in their own way as they are not imposed upon by drawings, as Crimson Al mentioned, if this comic was drawn as real people the art would need to be impeccable and although I am sure Crocty is capable of this he is giving the fans what they want in they style he wants to and if you want to insult them be educated and constructive about it not simply insulting.

Hi there.

You are the worst of the worst. The kind of guy who goes to concerts and festivals with the specific aim to bottle bands you don't like. I don't think any of your comments are justified at all really. Stick figures? So what? Is that a problem? I'd say that that is one of things that separates out Frank and Vinny from the rest. I think you either need to be exceptional at drawing or have something quirky and different otherwise you're just going to fall into the mid range of forgettable comics.

Why set up something that is just aimed at belittling other members of this community. I think your idea is good in principle. Reviewing comics, but by being titled "Bad Comics" is just ridiculous. Maybe if you changed your system to having people submit their comics for review and then you can give them your rating. That way they would know what they were letting them selves in for and if a bad review was given then fair game.

This is a site for anyone to come and have fun, talk to friends and share their comics. This particular page is a way to slag people off for having fun. Bravo.

I know you'll think that this is just another one of Crocty's fans coming and defending him but I can assure you that no matter how this was brought to my attention I would have had objection. I don't make comics but I love coming on here and reading a whole variety of different styles and although this might sound biased I would say that Frank and Vinny is one of the better I have seen. Its simple and easy to follow which is what every great comic should be like. And it has at the heart of it what is at the heart of every great comedy - a double act.

Thanks, I hope you dont just disregard this as another one of Crocty's fans defending him but really read it. Like I say, the idea of reviews is good, this is just abuse.

wow a DD critic, I wonder why no one has thought of this before. What I like best is the comments section. That's way better than the review cause there's a dialogue going on. Debating is good.

Are you only commenting on comics you don't like or are you going to do ones you like?

Have you ever heard of a blog? What are you doing is not a comic. But for critique sake lets break it down... You used comic sans which is regarded far and wide as the most atrocious font to use. I would recommend downloading a better font at www.dafont.com. Next the art work as little as it is terrible. It adds nothing to the page. You could presented you critique in a more graphically stimulating way but chose to copy paste your word.doc text into a jpeg and then add some silly mspaint drawing which looks like fat Bert from Sesame Street with sunglasses. The presentation needs much improvement. The core idea seems more appropriate in a different setting. Also it might be good to provide reason why your opinion on a said comic is qualified to be regarded.

In a comic community, I respect your opinion but to present it in such a fashion seems very offensive and quite rude.

I would encourage you to rethink the base idea and and maybe rework it.

I think that a comic is good, no matter what artisit style is. A comic with less detail usualy focuses more on witty punch-lines and vebal humor, which makes the comic good.

I apologize to anyone has has felt offended by my comic. I respect your criticism, despite how harsh it may sound. However, seeing how you are visiting my comic, all I ask is that you respect my views as well. If you do not enjoy my comic, you always have the option of never viewing it again. As for the people I have muted, if I ever post something you don't like on your comic, you are more than welcome to mute my comments.

It is impossible to not be biased. I know, I've tried, but as much as you like it, you too have an opinion and are therefore biased. Saying something is null just because it is biased I can't understand.

The supreme court is very biased, they already know how they fell about issues, yet their decisions aren't null.

Do you see what I'm getting at?

Stick figures is you believe me or not is a art form. If you create a comic you can acutally choose to pick stick figure style art. So you shouldn't bash the comic just because it has stick figures.

Crocty, as the creator of this comic, I am afraid your comments are biased. Therefore, you comments mean nothing. I'm sorry if you're displeased with my review, but that's how my guidelines work.

I don't know why so many people don't understand this, but I guess I'll just say it again: BIASED REVIEWS ARE MEANINGLESS.

OH. MY. GOD.
So which comics did you read?
The last ones of the story arc, which you wouldn't understand unless you read the beginning?
The first few, which I'll admit weren't that good?
If you want to do a decent review, you have to read the whole comic.
JEEZ.
Are you really THAT stupid?

I am not biased because I do not frequently read the comic. I simply read one or two pages and determine whether the comic was good or bad (in this case bad).

The reason why I muted you Bocaj was because you admitted that your comment was biased. I believe that if you make a biased review, your review isn't completely impartial and, therefore, your review is null and void -- end of story.

OK, I don't know what to say about this first.
1. I have many fans, I've gotten a few bad comments on a strict webcomic site, but that didn't discourage me.

2. I like YOUR art skills. Very good![/sarcasm]

3. This is not biased just because I make the comic, but your review is horrible. You suggested one thing. The rest was just bashing my comic. This isn't a review. Reviews have constructive criticism. You just said "OMG STICK FIGURES ARE RUBBISH LOLOLOL"

4. I have had a few people say they like my style, they say that every comic with normal people look all the same, and I should keep my stick figures.

5. No, they aren't biased because they like my comic either. That's not bias, that's people who don't hate my comic.

6. I could make this a very popular comic by linking it to people, like my readers, saying "Hey look at this retard" I do have many readers.

7. Your username is mis-leading.

8. You don't need pictures to understand jokes. I would be able to read a comic with no pictures. Just text. Because my IQ is above 2.

9. I'm gonna link this right now. Enjoy your shit storm.

10. Mute my comment if you really want. It'll just prove how much of an idiot you are.

11. Hey dude, I could've made a sprite comic. Atleast I put an effort in. (Like you did...[/SARCASM])

Look, I'm not insulting you, I'm just saying I've seen a bigger brain on a rotting pile a gecko shit.

Also, even though I've just said all this, I'd like to help you out. I know a comic that's horrible. They don't put any effort in. CONSTANT copy and paste, and everyone hates it.
It's here.
See ya' later, douche-bag.

What I meant was everybody is biased.

You are biased because you don't like it.

Also, was what I wrote really so mean you needed to mute it?

I think that if you are allowed to critique F&V (which you are), then I should be allowed to tell you why I like it.

I'm sorry if in any way you thought what I was saying was an attack on you, that is not what I intended.

"But yes, I am a fan, and therefore biased. But does being biased really matter?"

Yes, it does matter because if you are biased, you won't rate comics based on whether they are good or bad, but instead whether YOU like it or not, but since you admit your comment was biased, your opinions are not valid.

I respect your opinion, but just because a his using stick figures isn't that bad. Sure his art isn't anything to look forward to, but his jokes and facial expressions make it a worth while comic.

But yes, I am a fan, and therefore biased. But does being biased really matter?

Hogan, I can assure you that I do not "bash" other comics in my comic. I just merely review other comics that may seem not up to standard.

As for my review being biased, I only base my review a select number of pages, the fewer the better as this would make the review more unbiased.

However, if someone were to read a great deal of pages from a particular comic, they would eventually grow fond of that comic despite how good or bad that comic may really be, RESULTING IN A BIASED REVIEW. I will not argue with this any further: if your opinion about the comics I review are in any way biased, I do not wish to hear about them.

...in the future, if you like a comic that appears on "Bad Comics" in the future, please do not comment about that particular comic in a positive light, as that would make your comment biased.

So... your review is biased because you don't like it and choose to review it in that light? We, the readers, are not allowed to make positive comments about it if we like it, because thats biased... which means that if we don't like it, we are not allowed to make bad comments about it either... or?
So, if we like it we shall find things to critisize, and if we don't like it, we shall find happy things to say?
Just your comment makes we wonder if this is just supposed to become a "Bad Comic Basher?"?

In response to your comment KAM, despite the fact that the characters in "Frank and Vinny" might have expressive faces, they are nonetheless still stick figures. Drawing stick figures in comics is lazy regardless of how expressive there faces may be.

Also, because you like "Frank and Vinny" and therefore have read this comic, your opinion about this comic is biased. My opinion, on the other hand, is not biased since I have just read this comic. Therefore, my opinion is much more valid than yours.

Now, I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with what you said, and I'm pleased that you posted a link to this particular comic, but in the future, if you like a comic that appears on "Bad Comics" in the future, please do not comment about that particular comic in a positive light, as that would make your comment biased.

Thank you.

1. I was expecting a more comic strip style of review rather than a big block o'text with half a head at the bottom.

True, reviews don't necesarily lend themselves to a very graphic way of getting your point across, but reading you talk about how stick figures are a lack of artistic skill I thought you might have helped your point by illustrating with examples. That sort of thing.

2. You should post a link to the comic you are reviewing so people can actually go check it out & see if they agree with your review. For instance Frank & Vinny

3. For a stick figure comic Frank & Vinny have the most expressive faces I've ever seen in a stick figure comic.

Some SFCs I've seen usually go with blank faces which is really annoying, but I was impressed with the way he did faces on his characters in the few comics I looked at.
