usedbooks: Yes, porn is a terrible gift (and yet everyone keeps encouraging Trevor to get it for Laura).
GTLB: Susie loves the porn...I mean, come on. She's technically undergoing puberty in many ways - she's got to be a canister of hormones just waiting to burst open!
Short_Circuiting: Ah yes, Akira was freakin' sweet. I should go out and buy those, since my first read through involved borrowing them from my neighbor. And by borrow, I mean steal - but I did give them back after I read them all. ;)
BetaJess: Neil Gaimen is awesome! Just about everything he's written is gospel as far as I'm concerned. Also, yes - I'd expect a girl to break up with me if I got her porn. Well, maybe I'd take some naked pictures of myself as a joke.... :P
kiandranishan: Interesting...a lady who wouldn't mind porn. If someone were to get it for you, however, would you feel that it was a "good gift?" I mean, maybe if it came with a card or something.... :)
harryq: Hell freakin' yes!
seventy2: I love his Ender series, but I haven't read anything else by him. Does that make me a bad nerd?
lba: I do enjoy some good graphic novels, and I tend to put them down on my wish lists...although no one gets them for me. Either they don't want to try to look for it, or they just don't know what they're looking for.
Jimeth: I feel, after graduating from college, like my intelligence has started to slip a little. I'm not cramming new information into the long term (or, more often than not, the short term) memory. Everything feels very fleeting and not important beyond the immediate need at hand.
kyupol: No fooling...everyone loves some good ol' fashion porn! :P
amanda: Ah yes, we've spoken about books before. Neil Gaimen is an awesome writer (be sure to thank Jess every day for introducing him to you), and George RR Martin sounds like a lot of fun.

Martin (got Jess hooked on him, haha), Neil Gaiman (Jess got ME hooked on him), Kate Elliot...My other favorites are "Tale of Two Cities" and "Wuthering Heights."
