| | trevoramueller | Alrighty gang, here's the practice round for the interviews that Susie will be going on. In truth, these are actually some helpful interview techniques - just with a little comedic twist put in for entertainment value.
The next few pages were designed specifically to help me around my move, since I don't have internet access at the new apartment just now (only at work, or Laura's place). Please bear with me during this period of time - I'm going to be getting internet sometime in December, but the idea behind these pages was to make sure I had content going live if it took longer than expected.
Until next time, enjoy! -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: trevoramueller | | | Fitz: Good question. Sometimes I miss updates, though. I think they may sometimes get skipped on the DD Notifier.
As for my persona, I do tend to draw using more jagged or straight lines than geometric / rounded lines, so my character tend to look a little more impressionist. But he has the bald head, so you get the idea that it's me. ;)
Or sort of me. It's a fictional representation of a character that somewhat resembles me. I plan for him to do some very non-me stuff in the near future, so I hope people don't think it's something that I would do - it's just for the sake of comedy.
Glad you enjoyed the page! :D -Posted on Dec 04, 2007 | | User: Fitz | | 5 | How in the world did I neglect to rate and comment? It must've slipped my mind while I laughed my rear off ;) I love this one. Perhaps the only thing I'd change is " video production" to "movie promotion", which makes more sense in this context - but then again doesn't sound impressive enough.
And btw, I've seen your pics on the boards -you seem to be drawing yourself more square-jawed than you are ;) Hehehe! Nice to see the guy behind some of my favorite comics :) -Posted on Dec 03, 2007 | | User: trevoramueller | | | kyupol: That is so very very true.
So, I watched a kick ass flick over the weekend from Korea, called Tae Guk Gai: The Brotherhood of War. It's about two brothers who are drafted into the Korean War and forced to give up everything they have to fight a merciless enemy. Obviously, parts of the flick had to be dramatized and whatnot, but it was a very emotional movie and I enjoyed it a lot. -Posted on Dec 03, 2007 | | User: kyupol | | 5 | | Interviews can be fucked up. Its all about selling yourself and throwing bullshit. -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: trevoramueller | | | Alright, I have the day off from work. That means one thing - VIDEO GAMES! However, because my PC is being a little bit of a bitch right now (my C drive only has a gig of space available, and freezes up on me while I try to play my games), I guess I'll surf the web and answer some comments instead. ;)
crocty: Susie's definitely inexperienced at the interview process - which involving bending the truth a bit to make yourself look more desirable than the next person. It's almost an art form, interviewing....
Short_Circuiting: I tend to try and create desire and need when I interview, personally. Let the guy know that you have a few people waiting to get back to you, but that you'd really prefer to work at their company. It shows a little dedication.
Also, always remember to get the contact information of the person who you interview with, and send them a thank you e-mail or letter. This is very very key!
amanda: When the threats started flying, I'd probably start wetting myself as well. Although, the idea of an asian chick coming to visit me after hours could do a little something else (insert creepy bald man face here). :P
Rutger: Good man! This is an excellent way to buck for promotion - depending on how you're threatening. :D -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: Rutger | | 5 | | I threaten my employer all the time... -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: amanda | | 5 | | I dunno...if someone answered my interview questions like that, I'd hire 'em. And probably wet myself. -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: Short_Circuiting | | 5 | | i actually think threatening might be a good strategy in this day and age. xD -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | | User: crocty | | 5 | | Haha, she's not gonna get that job! -Posted on Nov 30, 2007 | Only registered members may vote.
