I usually go for over-the-top effects in many of my guest strips (see the one I did for Little Terrors), and I figured why not do it here? Charlie is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters in this strip.

amanda: Yeah, being cock blocked sucks. As for the birthday weekend, it's going to be an almost constant celebration, starting tonight: Movie Night on Friday, CATS on Saturday, dinner with the family on Sunday, out to dinner with Laura and then to the club on Monday, and Tuesday I have off from work...so time to relax, and maybe play some video games! ;)
kyupol: I agree with you, and it's more fun to do. However, bear in mind that Temple is 100% written (except for the prequels and sequel, which won't be out until next year) and it's a 3 year old story. I like to think that with comments not unlike the ones that I've been receiving on Drunk Duck, I've gotten much much better at story telling.
Also, Temple doesn't have an asian demon child who kills people that don't watch her home movie.... ;)
