I met Billy Tan last year at NYCC, as he was right next to some of my friends in Artist Alley and his kids was running around and climbing on their stuff. Also, my inker on Hope: Hero Initiative was Don Ho, who trained under Billy Tan back in the day. Billy and I had fun catching up and hanging out a bit at the convention (I love a lot of his latest artwork, and own a lot of his earlier stuff which, when you read it now, doesn't compare). He's a great guy.

Joss was walking around the con floor on Sunday promoting his new TV series, Dollhouse, and my friends had a chance to snap off this picture and give him a copy of their book. I have yet to hear from them if he's read it.

the2ndredbaron: Joss is a rather interesting and personable person, but it's funny to think that he would opt to distract from the mission instead of help it out. He's a seductive man, that one.

kyupol: I have a lot of fun at cons, but then again I've not been stuck running a booth. I'm a pretty social guy, and I enjoy meeting people and talking about their projects. I met some great people at this con, and furthered my networking. Plus made some great friends. I love cons!

That sounds like what Joss would do.

harryq: Glad you're digging it. The story has almost come to an end, but it's been fun to try to do something new and different.

seventy2: Thanks for reading!

amanda: Joss has had the beard for a while now (not sure what's up with beards in Hollywood at the moment, because Frank Miller has one too). Joss was pretty tired and haggard after his plane trip, so I don't blame him for being a little bumish.

thefightingstranger: Heck yeah, Billy's artwork has jumped leaps and bounds over his earlier stuff for Image. Spirit of the Tao was a decent enough series, but his artwork back then doesn't even compare to his stuff now.

MetaLuigi: Thanks for reading!

Steely Gaze: This is why I will never ask you to find me anything at a con. :P

Scorpious: Yup, Joss was there promoting Dollhouse (which I've read some mixed reviews about). He's a very personable guy, so it's a joy to get to meet him.

Yay! Celebrity cameos. Well, sort of. :P

Things are beginning to look a mite bit desperate, eh? Personally, I'd slap a Wolverine sticker on any old mug and hope he didn't notice the difference. :P

For some reason, I thought Joss Whedon would look a little less homeless.
