Sorry for the crappy update, guys and gals, but I’m still recovering from NYCC 2009. I will make up for it by posting a comic on Wednesday this week. I have some awesome things in the works – some of which I can’t even say anything about yet – but it’s all certainly taken a toll on me time-wise. I’m exhausted. Also, my camera battery wouldn’t hold a charge during the con, so I wasn’t able to put together the story that I wanted to tell. Therefore, I am throwing together a quick plot from pictures that I was able to “borrow” from my friends.

A blog about the con experience will be forthcoming. For now, though, I’m going on about 6 hours of sleep in the last four days, and I need to play catch up on a few projects….

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone!

Steely Gaze: It was a good con, and I just finished the blog about it (I'll post the link tomorrow, when the comic updates). You totally should have gone, and told me about it in advance so we could've hung out. It was a blast!

Heh, I hope it was good. Dang. It's the closest convention that I was interested in but there was no way I could make it over there this year.

Eh, who knows about next year though....

amanda: Sure sure, crossovers are fun. My camera is currently on the fritz, but hopefully I'll have it fixed (or replaced) in a jiffy.

kyupol: I got dumped soon after returning from last year's NYCC - so we're in a similar boat. There were a lot of hot girls there, though. I was mostly there for networking, however, so my time was pretty used up.

Warpedwenger: I don't apologize for doing it, I just wanted the picture to be more interesting. Also, I wanted to actually put a controlled story to this comic. However, I think I have a solution that should work. Something a little different, and hopefully fun.

haha. last time I went to a con, I had my gf (at that time) break up with me.

Though I got back on her though. I chatted up some pretty looking girls in front of her. Just to piss her off. Its like indirectly giving her the middle finger. :)

Cool - I like your photo comics a lot, so I'm happy to see you doing more ^.^ Also, should we ever want, this gives us such delicious opportunities for crossovers XD

Walrus: There are ways to get such things, honestly. If you know the right people. For me, I budgeted this trip and actually came in under budget - which is awesome, since I'm unemployed and poor. :P

seventy2: I was working while there, too, ya know. Working on my networking! I made some excellent contacts, and you'll see some pictures in this adventure that should hopefully blow your mind!

amanda: Bringing the Trevor / Jess romance would be a lot of fun, especially if we do the paypal thing that I talked about. I'm telling you, it's golden!

I want to try to focus a bit more on photos for this comic, since I have some excellent ideas and friends that can help me with them at the moment. If I move away because I land a job, then the photo comics become more difficult to do.

dragonki: Oh, it was a kick ass time. NYCC was tons of fun last year, but man oh man was it a long and tiring experience. If "con" were a verb, I would say that I con hard. It's a marathon! I'm still exhausted a week later.

And I'm also bummed about the battery, since I had some funny ideas for a comic. Now I'll have to try something different....

I'd never go to a Comi Con unless someone handed me a free ticket and enough money for a air fare and some food.

Awesome - looking forward to it ^.^ Also, Jess and I are firing up a photo comic starting in March - not plot-centric - and I figured that we could churn that Trevor-Jess internet romance back to life now and then. Yes?
