Smiling Platypus As the Galaxy Turns was originated when my daughters were juniors at the Maine College of Art. I started creating photographed cartoons of their old Star Trek characters for them to put on their studio walls. I still do these for fun and this comic contains new material with my off-kilter sense of humor. If you know the characters from the original series and Next Generation, you'll see some of their speech patterns and character traits. I am also preparing some of the full-length stories I created which I originally called 'virtual comics' and distributed on CDR's. My goal for this strip is to add one every one to two weeks.
