Kikari- I have to re-draw this map. I'll put it up later, it'll take a while.

Mainlands:
  • Eurcea
Eurcea is a Temperate Climate mostly full of open plains and farmlands, controlled by humans. Most of this area does not appreciate non-humans or magic users. Aside from the plains there are small forests spotted about with little demonic activity aside from the Hex Forest that is guarded by rangers.

  • Cero
Cero is Heavily wooded and mountainous, with increasingly chilly temperatures. Humans mostly own the edges, but the Avais and regular creatures are in the woods and lower mountains. The Air Dragon controls the Highest mountain and adjacent mountains and no others can enter without permission. There is also a larger demon population then the other mainlands. There's a large crystal clear lake near the base of the mountains closest to Eurcea with a small temple in the middle.

  • Dhetana
Dhetana is large and hilly with a large magical epicenter, totally surrounded by barriers. It is entirely populated with magic users, neutral demons, and other magical races. There are two rounded peninsulas rumors to be magic-made. Dhetana also has extensive beaches and many beings from the adjacent continents enter the mainlands though Dhetana.

  • Kholian
Kholian is a semi-warm climate mostly full of cities. All of the areas that point to the sea are entirely cliffs and very hard to Traverse. The Light Dragon controls parts of the cliffs, and many people try to trek to her home and ask for something.

  • Offlands:
  • Reideki
Reideki is mostly inhabited by Anthromorphs and other animalic species. The Climate is slightly cooler then Eurcea, but still pleasant. Reideki has multiple docks and ports due to the amount of movement to and from the large island but is economically poor and isn't as nice as any of the mainlands. They island stays running by exports and local economy, but considering most of the inhabitants were sent off due to their species, none came with money. Reideki works mostly off of barter systems, trading exports for imports and some money.

  • MeMeh
MeMeh is a long desert island heavy in sand, dirt, chasms, valleys, and gorges. It is great for study but hard to get around in the hostile environment. It is also well known for the many pools of quick sand. The Valley of the Earth Dragon is apparently in one of the quicksand holes, as a giant cavernous land. There are few inhabitants, mostly near the shores. There are no known humans on the isle, mostly other species more fit for the hostile environment.

  • Dire
Dire is an inactive volcano modified by the dwarves that inhabit it. They build a fort on top and spend their time in the mines and the forgeries within. Dire has the largest and most successful weapon trade on the market, and they make the strongest and lasting swords. The exports are usually done by flying creatures instead of ships for un-established reasons. Of everything, the dwarves just want to be left alone.

  • Druahani
Druahani is a beautiful land, abundant in green fields, trees, and natural fountains. However, this land is floating above the ocean with rocky peaks beneath it, where the land one was. This land is only accessible by dragons, and is inhabited and maintained by dragons. Aside from a miniscule amount of demons, this land is entirely draconic. In the center is a Giant cascading fountain that flows down and even of the isle into the sea. There are assorted other floating spires and miniature islands beneath it where winged creatures inhabit and live off of the excessive prosperity of the dragons. Only the dark dragon cares, however, because the creatures will stop and assist the dragons at any time. This isle isn't just for the Dragon Gods, either, but all the dragons.

  • Faedosai
Faedosai is an almost entirely demon inhabited land. The Land is heavily wooded around the center city and then closed off by rocky cliffs and spires. While scaleable, you probably wouldn't be able to unless you were a demon because they would try to kill you off. Any mix of Demons and other species and antromorpic species are aloud, but limited. Dragons freely come and go but never stay.

  • Other Isles:
  • Etouia
Etouia is a small magic-made isle with an extreme amount of energy in the area. Tapping into one of the elemental energy sources near the center can easily give and creature immense magical power, or increase a magic user's power tenfold. However, this much power can start to destroy the user form the core unless they use magic constantly. According to legend the Island is where the angel fell and became a goddess, and she now resides there. It is nearly impossible to get to the island however due to the extreme rapids and storms, along with flux storms which are magical overflows that rage into a large powerful force. There is no record of anyone actually reaching the isle.

  • Eccra
Eccra is a random small island with a large tourist rate. It's all topical and has long soft sand beaches with a multitude of wild fruit and trees. There are few locals, and most are not human. Aside from the large hotel and adjacent city district, the isle is empty city wise. There's a resort on the other tip, too.

  • Feravois
Feravois is an Active Volcanic Isle where the Fire Dragon stays. There is slight establishment on the older isles created by the volcano due to the fertility and the close-ness to the mainlands. The Fire Dragon god is said to live in the volcano and leaves at the hottest times of the day on occasion. The Land is abundant in fruit and flowers and has a relatively successful port.

  • Dragon God Homes:
Click the God's name to jump to a description of them.

  • Water Dragon's Lair(In the Sea under Druahani)
Farther down in the ocean, there's a cavern where the Water Dragon God lives. It's mostly full of water, but there's a dry spot and a large vortex leading to the top of the ocean. The vortex is dangerous to go close to, obviously, but it's the only path with air to the water dragon.

  • Air Dragon's Peak(Cero)
The Air dragon lives in the Ceroian mountains at the highest mountain near the center. He also masters the surrounding peaks but he is not territorial over them.

  • Light Dragon's Cliffs(Kholian)
The Cliffs are very tall and rocky before you actually reach the sea, but the cliffs are very well lit and bright. Most people just walk to her though Kholian and. The Area itself that she lives in is a large flat area at the cliffs edge made most of grass and dirt with few rocks.

  • Fire Dragon Volcano(Fearvois)
The Fire Dragon lives in the Volcano of Fearvois that created the islands around it. As you can image, it is rocky and full of molten lava aside from assorted paths near the base that lead to the cavernous area where the fire dragon would usually reside. Around the paths are little streams of molten lava and it's much too hot inside for most creatures.

  • Dark Dragon's Fortress(Near Durahani)
The Fortress of the Dark Dragon is made entirely of dark magic and moves around, although it is usually found near Durahani, Etouia, or Faedosai. He obviously doesn't appreciate visitors.

  • Valley of the Earth Dragon(MeMeh)

  • Life Dragon's Isle

  • Dwellers' names:
Eurcean, Ceroian, Kholian, Dhetanan, (Those last four are usually called mainlanders by other continents or isles)
Reidekite(sometimes referred to as Animalic Isle), Etouian(Used in reference to the land, considering there's no one there), MeMite, Durahanite(Usually referred to as dragons or Dura's Spire dwellers), Faedosain(Usually just referred to as demons),
    Dirite(Dwarves), Eccran, and Feravoian.

    Religion-

The religions in Kikari are very limited. There is mostly the main religion recognizing the angel as the head of the religion, and then the older believers in the Dragon Gods(Known mostly as Drakian). They are still referred to as the Dragon Gods by the followers of the Angel(Known just as the Angelic religion) but they do not recognize them as actual gods. There are also those who only worship one or two of the dragons just referred to as the dragons element(Firian, Waterian, Earthian, Airian(No, no nazis involved), Lightian, Darkian, and Lifian. These are usually by villages or people who live specifically in a certain element, like a desert-dweller would follow the Earth dragon or the Air Dragon, and so.

    All-accepted lore-
The Angel fell from a world unknown and was lost of her own. Without knowledge or ability to return, the angel created her own planet to watch and care for as her own. She named the world Kikari and began to watch over it as it grew and expanded, new species and races came to and lived their own lives. But, as time wore on the angel, she could not sustain power and sunk to the center of Kikari, floating though the isle now known as Etouia or Parting in Old Leai. As she entered the planets core, six dragons rose up around her and watched her decent. The farther she sunk, the more power they gained and they became that of gods and the Dragons decided that they would take the roles of which they had attained. All of their own elements, they split up to guard the land and protect it in and from their own element. As they departed, the Angel had reached the center and was in a deep sleep, and another Dragon raised as her as arguably a projection of herself(Angelics believe that he just represents life and not that of the angel) to protect the life of the creatures and not just the land. As the angel slumbered, the world aged on and forth to the Kikari that it is today.

*Each Cycle(or year if you will) during the Season of the New the Dragons go to Etouia for an extent of time and travel together to one of the other dragon's homes or go together to visit a certain content together. There is always a festival when they appear and sometimes they will participate. The continent they visit that year usually experiences prosperity for the cycle. This only lasts for so long and then the dragons go back to where ever they live or wherever they want. Every three cycles they will meet as a group to visit some place as a group In the Season of the Crescent instead of the Season of the New, and they will spend the entire phase away from home traveling.
    * See time

The Dragon Gods are 7 divine dragons who rule over Kikari in the absence of the angel(Drakian). Each Dragon god has a patron element that the inhabitants tend to call him or her by. Each dragon also has an actual name but it is normally unknown to mortals. As you can infer, the dragon gods are immortal and omnipotent. They each control entirely over their own element, although they all have limited power over different elements then their own. Each dragon has different seasons that they will be less active in because their element is less prevalent, but the same applies in an opposite way where they are more active in seasons with their own element. While there are three Female Dragon Gods(Water, Air, and Light), three male Dragon Gods(Fire, Earth, Dark), and one genderless Dragon God(Life), they are all referred to only as Dragon Gods and even the females are not referred to as a Goddess. Only the Angel is known as a Goddess, but is referred to as the Angel. Many people do not even know of the Dragon's Genders until meeting them and hearing their voices.

The Life Dragon is kind of far-off at her island, but is no stranger to company and seems to enjoy it. The Life Dragon loves to participate in whatever ritual or event she is asked to attend but will disappear for multiple phases on end. She is most certainly kind and loving but has a very parental attitude and will only do what is best for the world, even if it involves some damage. The Life Dragon has control over her entire element, and that includes death.

The Light Dragon is a calm and wise dragon who loves to relax and assist in things, however she is entirely inactive during the new moon season aside from the gathering, and she is reclusive during the Season of the Quarter. She doesn't always appreciate visitors but she is willing to listen to them for some time. She is also known as the Dragon of Day.

The Dark Dragon is entirely reclusive and seemingly never leaves his fortress. The fort is entirely made of darkness and the non-magical cannot even walk on it, if they could even get to it. There's an abundance of demons that live around him who are decidedly non-neutral. It is questioned if they ever some in contact with the Dark Dragon due to his lack of leaving or lack of allowing creatures in his fortress, but they all are loyal to him. The fort has actually been reported to move around although it is usually near Durahani. He usually doesn't leave except for the season of the new and the season of the quarter. He is also known as the Dragon of Night.

The Earth Dragon is quietly living inside MeMeh he will only see visitors who will work to get to him. He mostly stays in or on MeMeh and doesn't leave often, but he sometimes visits islands or goes to Durahani. The Earth Dragon is mostly active during the Season of the Half and Full.

The Water dragon is a smooth constant with a supporting but realistic attitude. She is usually calm but sometimes she will break out in a 'storm' for a bit and causes erratic weather and tides. She is almost always in a body of water, rarely taking to air to get about. She likes to appear in lakes sometimes and loves to swim around, and she can be seen on sailing journeys and the sailors who spot her usually experience pleasant voyages. Sometimes she will follow a boat and converse with the sailors. She's very light hearted and always seems to be moving, but if you manage to get to her home to see her, she knows and will be there. The water dragon is most active during the Season of the Crescent and Quarter.

The Fire dragon is a bit of a mean spirit. He's a bit rash and quick to react and enjoys scaring people although he never causes real harm unless it is called for. He likes to wander but mostly in warmer climates. He is most active in The Season of the Half and the season of the Crescent.

The Air Dragon is a free spirit is known to fly around anywhere although she'll spend most of her time in Cero or other mountain or windy terrain. She doesn't like to be in one place for too long so she is a bit harder to catch at home then some of the other dragons. She is most active during the Half and Full.

    Drakian-
Drakian is mostly followed by Demis, some Demons, and anthromoprics along with the (of course) dragons, however, dragons tend to follow just one that heads their elemental.
The Drakian Religion like the Angelic states the Angel came from another world and created Kikari and the dragons came when she left. They believe that since the angel is asleep, she is not functioning as the Goddess that she rose to be and the Dragons now take her place as the omnipotent beings.

    Angelic-
Angelic is mostly followed by humans and humanoids with little demonic and demi following. The Angelic religion states that when the angel sunk to the center and the dragons rose, the dragons are all different projections of the angel with the Life dragon as a projection of the angel itself, so all Angelics follow the dragons but do not recognize them as whole gods but partial ones.

    Time-

Kikari's time functions around the phase of the two moons.
There's five seasons- The Season of the New, which is like a mixture of winter and spring with the sun out and cool temperatures. This is just breaking out of the snow. It's not uncommon for light snow is freezing rain in the season of the new.
The Season of the Crescent is still very spring like, but warmer and less rainy, more like official spring then the 'just out of the winter' spring. Things are all green and growing, and it's pretty rainy.
The Season of the Half is summer with hotter temperatures and very sunny. It's usually windy and there's an abundance of clouds.
The Season of the Full is best known as Autumn or fall with cooler temperatures browning leaves. This entire season is usual spend harvesting by farmers and commonly spent more religiously then the other seasons. There is usually a feast to celebrate harvest in rural lands.
The Season of the Quarter is winter. It is snowy, dead, and cold, but still beautiful. It is mostly spend inside or adventure due to the lack of agricultural work. The most common thing to do during the season of the Quarter is to vacation, usual on one of the islands like Eccra, but lots of people prefer going to see something more adventurous like MeMeh's dunes or even visit the dragons.

Each set of seasons is referred to a cycle or a year, depending on where you live. Also, some places refer to the seasons as phases, but this isn't common in the mainlands or more urban lands.

Unlike the earth moon, an entire moon cycle is not 28 days long, but 145 days long with each phase as 29 days long. Thus, a cycle/year on kikari is very short. I would take two and a half Kikari years for the same length of an earth year.
