Indefinite Hiatus

Hey everyone. As you may have noticed, Al De Baran has missed the last couple of updates. And it will keep missing them, because I am attending graduate school.
Some of the more astute of you may remember, "Hey, I thought you hated school and were done with it forever after graduating!" Yeah, I thought so too, but I suppose I have a little bit of fire left in me.
Grad school is...unbelievably busy. The vast majority of my time is dedicated to school, and it is still somehow not enough. Even when I am catching up I am falling behind. Heck, the only way I was able to update Al De today was by neglecting sleep. I simply can't keep up with Al De Baran with this schedule, like at all. All of my projects and pretty much all of my hobbies have been put away. In fact, last Saturday I took a chance and spent most of the day playing video games just to relax and have some fun and I've been paying dearly for it over the past few days in the form of missed sleep, stress, headaches, and mental exhaustion. I'm not trying to complain or get sympathy; I just want to give everyone an idea of how demanding grad school is.
So...this is the hardest part of this post. I can't say when Al De Baran will come back, if it ever does. (Oh jeez, my eyes started tearing up when I wrote that) Graduate school will last for at least another 2 1/2 years, and after that I will be 27 years old, very ready to begin a full-time career and start raising a family. I really can't say how busy I will be after I graduate, and I don't want to say that I'll be back after that because that's just something I can't promise.
I've been half-tempted to just end Al De Baran permanently and put an end to stringing everyone along on this pitiful updating schedule and just put this poor comic out of its misery, but...I can't bear to do that. Even after almost ten years of starting this comic, I still have a story to tell.
So...for now I'll just have to leave Al De Baran on this indefinite hiatus. But whatever happens to this comic, I just want to let everyone know that your readership and kind words have meant the world to me, and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to join me and read my story. It's been a lot of fun, and no matter what happens, I'm just glad that I got to share this experience with all of you. Thank you for everything.

Well when it comes to education everyone arrives to an unwanted hiatus to personal projects so take your time. My personal advice that I really have to take myself is learning to do time management to do and finish the story. Personally I've liked how you pulled the story and I cannot say much but I can only end with one word... Ganbatte

All good things must come to an end D: Thank you for your hard work, and a great comic, Kristin~ it was a good run :D Keep rollin' and become a millionaire or somethin'. Good luck, Kristin~<3 Now I need another site/comic that I'll check 5 times every time I open my web browser, though. One that I actually WANT to check; I have other sites that I check every damn time, and it pisses me off that I have nothing better to do. Al De Baran was the only one I was okay with doing that. I'll find one eventually. Maybe.

Well, i have been reading your comic since first page.... but this is the first time I post (maybe even de last, I only registered to write here...) It is very sad that maybe the comic ends here.... but at last I think that it is not you who sould be thanking.... I thank you for the good history, the good comic, and the good times that you gave me whit this pages... I hope that some day you can continue whit this, but if not, at last it were good times. I hope the best for you and your studies.... good luck... and thanks
