This was originally planned as two separate strips. However, due to spacing constraints I decided to collapse them into a single installment. I think it's paced out okay.
This strip breaks some new ground, and I feel the need to point out the various facets. They are as follows...
1. The blue spider god has been established as an "Alfred" to "Air Raid Robertson's "Batman". He'll be this way for the series' knowable future.
2. It has now been firmly established that Air Raid Robertson is not a freelance adventurer hero. He belongs to a corps of similar pilots. You'll be meeting some of these other pilots in the next few strips.
3. I have now drawn Air Raid Robertson and Ridley in civilian clothes. Ridley came easily enough, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to decide whether Air Raid Robertson is the tpe who owns pajamas or if he just sleeps in his clothes.
4. Ridley has a girlfriend. She'll show up in later strips with her name and backstory filled in as we go along. She will actually play a crucial role in a later storyline.
