| User: Steely Gaze | | | Well thank you SpANG, but I'm just gonna blame CK for Jared in the last panel. :)
I can't pull a Marvel and find a way out every time.
Glad I made you laugh. -Posted on Jul 02, 2008 | | User: SpANG | | 5 | Maybe Jared was unwilling to look Henry in the eyes because he know s he just said something crazy?
Heh.
Nice job one this one. I laughed! -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Steely Gaze | | | Wow, okay, hold on a sec Flup.
Firstly, thanks to both Gadora and Trevor for reading.
Now, I could give you an excuse for Henry's eyes (not Jared's, but Henry's). You see, the complete and utter shock of Jared actually deciding, against all sanity (as you shall learn), to try and do a large construction project like this has just floored him.
He's just staring straight ahead in shock, unable to do anything else. :)
Jared...nope, I ain't got any excuses for him. That was all CK's fault. :)
Thanks for your time though! -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Flup | | | | Yup, the sideburns look good :) -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Chameleon Kid | | | *lol* I love the diagram! XDD
Yeah, I'm not very good at getting their eyes to go the way I want--still working at perfecting this art style...the eyes were one of th' "big" changes I had made. (However, I AM finally getting the hang of Henry's sideburns!) ^,^ *that's one small success* ^///^ -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Flup | | | | Oops, I just realised that the diagram is backwards. But no matter. -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Flup | | |
Diagram for you! (low quality, sorry) -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Flup | | | Okay, I have some constructive (hopefully) criticism.
In the last panel, Jared and Henry both seem to be looking straight ahead, as if they're staring into space, not at each other.Jared's pupils should be lower in his eyes, because he's looking down, and Henry's dot-pupils should be higher, because he's looking up. -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Flup | | | Steely Gaze Said: Flup: Contain yourself, please. XD
Okay.
...hehe... -Posted on Jul 01, 2008 | | User: Gadora | | 5 | -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: Steely Gaze | | | Thanks you two!
Antcomics: Yeah about that...she lied. Her dragons are terrible, trust me. ;P
Amanda: Hmm, I think Henry will wish that Jared was one of those pen-paper-planners. As you'll learn, this was not a good undertaking for him. Not good at all. -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: amanda | | 5 | | Ha! Awesome! So the majority of my male friends are engineers (of the aerospace/electronic type, not the choo-choo-awesome-hat type), and when there is something really complicated going on that they're involved in (building a 20 foot dragon, moving an entertainment center from one apartment to another), they'll sit around and come up with all the different, logical ways to complete the task - busting out with pen and paper, even! Meanwhile, all the girls have already finished moving/building. /long-windedness. All I was really trying to get to is that Jared strikes me as the paper-pen-planner type. -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: antcomics | | 5 | Oh boy, I have heard CK draws killer dragons. I heard that someplace...I think from her. =)
Heheeeeee!!
How dare someone move in and try to steal Toni's thunder. Mega-poopheads! -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: Steely Gaze | | | Thanks for the comments!
Flup: Contain yourself, please. XD
Fintago: I dunno, wouldn't that be dangerous? :P
Spiritmonkey: The idea of a giant dragon has people excited, does it? :)
BetaJess: Hold it. You haven't seen Jared do carpentry yet. You might want to withhold on your hot statement until the next strip. ;P
Kid: Yes, you will. But don't worry, only towards the end. And I like how the next one is shaping up! So there. -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: Chameleon Kid | | | Please tell me I won't have to draw something that could be passable as a giant 20-foot tall wooden dragon... =_= (I'm gonna, aren't I?) *groan*
I'm happy with the way the art came out in this one...the next, not so much...but it's the best I can do. *shrug* =/
(This promises to be fun.) Also, I'd like to try drawing Ben again. :) -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: BetaJess | | | | OMG. A man working on a building a dragon. Art, carpentry, dragonness, sweat, and actually doing work for once? Wow, that is totally freaking hot. -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: spiritmonkey | | 5 | WOOHOO!!
DRAGON!!!11!11!1!!!111oneoneone!!!1111 -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: Fintago | | 5 | | Would it be a fire breathing wooden dragon ;P -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 | | User: Flup | | 5 | | XD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 -Posted on Jun 30, 2008 |
