I learned German out of self-defense...especially special events when the wife and the in-laws and the rest of the family gathers. Naturally I learned all the dirty words first, then Lebkuchen, schnitzel und bratwurst later.

Haha! I speak just a little French, a great deal of Greek and Spanish. I can read and understand several other languages, Portuguese, Dutch and Italian. I'm not typical for Kentucky, either. ;) I enjoyed giving you the surprize.

Ha, I was right. Since Belgium has THREE national languages, (French, Dutch and German) I figured I'd take a guess--as we say in America, "take a stab at it". So what I answered to your previous comment: "Adrian wanted to get involved, but could not. When she became Tara's doctor, certain protective laws manifested. She must remain reserved."

The only thing I really understood: Yes I'm a belgian, however I never learnt dutch in my childhood. My family (most of them) is from the "french speaking" part of Belgium (We got two languages creating a "war" and I doesn't really like the dutch point of view).
